Job Summary

You will be responsible as an Accountant for maintaining financial data, creating financial reports, and analysing financial data to guarantee accurate and compliance financial records. Maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and giving relevant insights to support the organization’s financial choices are all part of your job. Your attention to detail, analytical ability, and mastery of accounting concepts will all help you handle money more effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Bookkeeping: Record financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and expenses, in accounting software or ledgers.
  3. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management and stakeholders.
  5. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  6. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns, including income tax, VAT, or other applicable taxes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
  • Female applicants are preferred for this role.
