Additional Info

• To be familiar with the recipe and prepare orders for daily operations.
• Preparation of bread & pastry orders as required which includes making specialty bread as scheduled monthly.
• Contribute to the scheduling of customer orders by briefing Manager on the demand of bread & pastry requirements.
• Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or better, following recipes. (Baker must measure ingredients with a high degree of precision)
• Roll, cut and shape dough to form related products.
• Prepare and make the filling for relevant product.
• Adjust drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperature. Observe product while cooking, checking color and adjusting controls.
• Use Variety of kitchen tools, including electric mixer, pans, rolling pins and cutting tools.
• Select the appropriate pans and equipment for various baked goods.
• To observe excellent food hygiene practice in the food chain from storage to preparation and service.
• To ensure the kitchen equipment is in working order and report any maintenance issues to the Manager.
• Undertake and carry out other duties/responsibilities upon Management request.
