Your function as a Contract Administrator is to manage and administer contracts within an organization. You will be in charge of contract evaluation, preparation, and negotiation, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards and keeping accurate contract records. Your attention to detail, legal expertise, and organizational abilities will be essential in managing contracts and limiting risks for the organization.

  1. Contract Management:
    • Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Identify potential risks and propose appropriate mitigating strategies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify contract terms and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
    • Maintain a database or system to track contracts, key dates, and contract-related documents.
  2. Contract Drafting and Negotiation:
    • Draft and prepare contracts, agreements, and amendments based on organizational needs.
    • Coordinate contract negotiations with external parties, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal standards.
    • Collaborate with legal counsel or subject matter experts as needed for complex or high-value contracts.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management or similar fields.
  • Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts. SAP/ERP experience preferred. Proficient with MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Analyse and interpret a wide range of documentation.
  • The contract administrator will negotiate contract terms and conditions between various parties.
  • Maintain files for contracts containing original contracts, relevant correspondence, amendments, clarifications and payment schedules. You will clarify the terms of employment contracts with staff.
