Helicopter Mechanic Technician

You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of helicopters and their components as a Helicopter Mechanic Technician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that helicopters operate safely and efficiently by executing planned maintenance chores and addressing any mechanical faults. This position necessitates a thorough understanding of helicopter systems, as well as strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and adherence to safety rules. Helicopter mechanic technicians often work for helicopter operators, aviation firms, or government agencies in hangars, repair facilities, or airports.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.

No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.

Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Additional Info

Conducting regular and methodical inspections on all the helicopters in our hangars, according to inspection regulations
Identifying potential problems, performing diagnosis procedures to determine the causes and troubleshooting the problems,
Performing the necessary repairs to correct diagnosed problems in at timely manner.
Conducting scheduled maintenance such as oil changes
Using the appropriate instruments tools and software programs to measure performance and make repairs.
Communicating with helicopters pilot about the performance of the helicopters during flight
Trouble shooting any issues brought to light by the helicopter pilots immediately.
Making helicopter retirement recommendations based on previous pilots immediately.
Making helicopter retirement recommendations based in previous maintenance repairs and flight times.
Keeping detailed maintenance logs and reports
